Percy Jackson Blue Birthday Recipes

Hey everyone! I thought in honor of Percy Jackson's birthday (August 18th) I thought I would give you the links to a couple of blue food recipes in honor of Percy!!

   
Blue Cookies:

"I recoiled at the taste, because I was expecting apple juice. It wasn't that at all. It was chocolate-chip cookies. Liquid cookies. And not just any cookies—my mom's homemade blue chocolate-chip cookies, buttery and hot, with the chips still melting."

What better way to celebrate a birthday than cupcakes? Even better, they're blue! (of course ;)










Blue Waffles

"My mom made blue waffles and blue eggs for breakfast. She’s funny that way, celebrating special occasions with blue food. I think it’s her way of saying anything is possible. Percy can pass seventh grade. Waffles can be blue. Little miracles like that. "



 Blue Soda:
If you want blue soda, like Percy and his blue cherry Coke,  I find it works well if you put 2-3 drops of blue food coloring (until desired color) into Sprite, Sierra Mist or 7Up. You can also buy Frostie blue cream soda at Walmart.
